RTA Visits RAILBUS at the Doers Summit

We were honored to welcome a senior delegation from Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to the RAILBUS platform during the Doers Summit, held on 26–27 November at Dubai Silicon Oasis.

The visit marked an important moment for the RAILBUS journey, reflecting the growing interest and engagement around next-generation, sustainable urban mobility solutions.

During the visit, the RTA delegation explored the pre-final RAILBUS vehicle prototype, which features several functional systems, including passenger displays, electric doors, and climate control elements. The discussion focused on the vehicle’s design, engineering progress, and its potential role in future smart and sustainable transport networks.

Key topics addressed included safety standards, operational readiness, and certification pathways, as well as the roadmap toward completing the fully functional prototype and advancing to the next testing and pilot phases.

The visit also included constructive discussions around future collaboration opportunities, including the potential allocation of a dedicated test track area to support upcoming experimental and validation stages of the RAILBUS system.

Hosting the RTA delegation at the RAILBUS platform reinforced the importance of close collaboration between innovators and public transport authorities in shaping the future of mobility in Dubai and beyond.
